  You’re in the right spot if:

• You are concerned that your baby or toddler isn’t developing at the same pace as other children the same age. 
  Many resources are only available until your child turns 3.  Don’t wait. 
  Check out the birth-to-three index for resources.
   
• Your pre-school or elementary school-aged child has just been diagnosed with a learning disability or a delay in development.  This is the place to look for resources, especially if you don’t want to be limited to services provided by your school district.
  Act now.  Insurance often pays for private services up until your child is 7 years old.
   
• You’re a knowledgeable parent of a special needs child and you’ve used some of the resources listed here. 
  Leave feedback so other parents can benefit from your experience.

This site lists both traditionally accepted treatment methods as well as more controversial alternative therapies. That said, we expect you'll conduct your own research before proceeding with any provider and monitor your child's experience closely.  Let you own judgment be your guide about whether something is right for your child.
