The Academic Institute, Inc.
The
Academic Institute is a private, accredited high school and middle
school. It features small group classes (no more than 7 students per
class), traditional academics, electives and distance learning
classes. High school students earn credit for work and volunteer
experiences on Fridays.
Middle school students spend Fridays taking elective courses in art,
music or physical education. The school enrolls students with
learning differences, as well as those needing more challenging
academics. Some students are "dual-enrolled," using The Academic
Institute as a home-school center while simultaneously attending
their public school. SAT and ACT preparation is available, as well
as Summer School.
